The lowdown on Milk (Liquid Flesh)

So I keep seeing all over Babycenter.com moms asking, "Should I give my baby cow's milk after breast feeding/ formula feeding? Is it good for them? Is it bad for them?

Well ladies here is the answer. NO!!! Milk is not good for you or your baby! Any milk from any animal is not good for your children. It doesn't matter is its cows milk or goats milk. We are the only mammal that drinks milk from another species. How messed up is that! Or that drinks milk at all past infant hood. That should say something. But we have all been trained into thinking that we need milk for strong bones and teeth. That we need the calcium to be healthy. When in reality cows milk actually pulls the calcium from our bones.

Many scientific studies have shown an assortment of detrimental health effects directly linked to consuming milk. We barely absorb the calcium in cows milk (especially if its pasteurized). To make it even worse like I stated above it increases calcium loss from your bones.

Here's what happens. Like all animal protein, milk acidifies the body pH, which triggers a biological correction. Calcium is an excellent acid neutralizer and the biggest storage of calcium is in our bones.  So the same calcium that we need for our bones to stay strong is utilized to neutralize the acidifying effect of milk. Once the calcium is pulled from our bones, it leaves the body via urine. So the result is calcium deficiency.

The sad truth is that almost all mainstream doctors ignore these proven facts.

Many scientific studies contradict the convention thinking that milk and dairy consumption helps reduce osteoporotic fractures. Though studies demonstrate that milk and dairy products actually fail to protect bones from fractures. Even drinking milk from a younge age doesn't protect against fracture risk but actually increases it.

Cumming and Klineberg report their study findings as follows:

"Consumption of dairy products, particularly at age 20 years, was associated with increased risk of hip fracture in old age. ("Case control study of Risk Factors for Hip Fractures in the Elderly" American journal of Epidemiology, Vol 139, No. 5, 1994)

Not only that but it also is to blame for:

  • Breast cancer
  • Diabetes
  • Kidney stones
  • Acne
  • Heart disease
  • Osteoporosis
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
Beside all of the bad health effects you are also giving yourself and your children milk that has been pasteurized and homogenized, the cows that produce the milk are given hormones and antibiotics. Also the US allows for blood and puss to be in your milk. If that isn't enough to convince you not to give your children milk I don't know what is.

They are many great alternatives to cows milk you and your family can drink. We use organic coconut milk, there is also almond milk, rice milk, soy milk. But make sure it is organic!

Say no to cows milk!
